CLIMBING - CHALLENGES WITH A TASTE OF ADVENTURE
Bizarre heights, extremely steep tracks ...
and stunning views - there's something for everyone.
The via ferrata through the Gerlossteinwand is not for the faint hearted.
The impressive track is generally exposed, partly overhanging and has extremely exposed sections. A good level of fitness and a head for heights are basic requirements for this route. The via ferrata has good safety rails, there are two cruxes and a few vertical rock faces in the climb, which requires some courage and energy.
It also includes some crossings and three rest places, some of which offer room for several people - an ideal solution for those not quite so fit. Those not wishing to climb on their own can make use of a mountain guide.
The "Ewige Jagdgründe"
The bizarre rock formations and steep mountainside in Ginzling guarantee excitement - a 60m-high rock formation in the Zemmgrund with a level of difficulty from 4-10 - arguably one of the best in Europe.
Zimmereben Via Ferrata
With a "D" level of difficulty, various different sections, 10 minutes walk from our hotel with vertical to overhanging sections, steel brackets with wire and a steel ropeway.
